This magnificent new study center is on its way to Norway. Located on Ilha Grande, our new study center will offer you the 750 m long private beach of Las Palmas and its 35 student cabins where studying will be an enormous pleasure.
3 national parks and federal Brazilian laws help to keep this paradise on earth free of cars. An island so beautiful an just 120 km away from Rio de Janeiro will receive students who seek adventure and warmth. Note that being on an island, does not mean that students will be isolated. Students can reach Rio de Janeiro in 1 1/2 hours on a boat and 20 minutes on a speed boat.
The islands 106 beaches and its rainforest/ocean edge effect, where fresh water meets salt water, make of the place one of the most bio diverse areas one can find. Here you can find many different animal and plant species if you are interested in wildlife and ecology.
The main village called "Abrao" has only 2000 inhabitants and it is a beautiful and charming harbor village with lots of cafés and night life. Despite of having very few people living on the island, it receives more than 150.000 tourists every year, so here you will not only meet the local population, but also people from all over Latin America, lots of them.
Andes Studier introduces you to a special "Capoeira" dance form typical from the island and a smaller carnival in a cozier environment away from dangers of big cities or other places where tsunamies and hurricanes are a constant danger. Our students will also have the chance to learn the typical Samba dance from Brazil. Get inside the Brazilian culture and its happy aproach to life.
